The Rogers are headed to Canada. Let’s see what we get up to!
World Travel
Maria Teresia Platz
Our next stop was to the Museum Quarter on Maria Teresea Platz. We went back to the inner city “ring” and spent the next few hours exploring the museums here. Honestly, you could spend an entire day in one of these museums! There is SO much to absorb. We chose a few exhibits that […]
A Surprise Festival in the Heart of Segovia, Spain
I’m alternating catching up on travel posts as well as current baby posts, so this is one of the latter. I love getting to re-live our travels by digging up photos and details of our past trips, especially since travel is not really an option for us right now. I hope you enjoy this little […]
Cordova, Spain
Since we can’t travel for now, I figured I’d reminisce and share some of our favorite places in Spain! Cordova was a medieval gem and these hot summer days in Texas definitely remind me of the hot summer days in Spain.
Florence
My heart goes out to Italy during this difficult time with COVID-19. Italy is one of my favorite places I’ve traveled and is my ancestral home. My Nonnie’s side of the family (Pierangelis and Nonis) can be traced to a tiny town called Colognora. I still have cousins there that I have never met! Aaron […]
Schonbrunn Palace
One of the most memorable places we visited in Vienna was Schonbrunn Palace. The interior rooms were breathtaking and the gardens were gorgeous. This is a highly recommended spot to add to anyone’s Vienna bucket list.
Our Introduction to Vienna
Vienna was one of the places I was most looking forward to in Austria. Aside from Munich, it was the only big European city we were visiting this trip. This history of this country all culminates to its capitol. Napoleon sacked it (twice), Hitler annexed Austria and announced it in Vienna, the Hapsburg dynasty ended […]
The Krimml Waterfall and an introduction to Zell Am See
We left Innsbruck early and headed toward Zell Am See which was in the Austrian province of Salzburger Land. Along the way Aaron had a few places planned that he wanted to stop. Before we could get there, however, we had to stop for some petrol and it was painful! You really notice how highly […]
Imst, St. Anton an Alberg, and our last day in Innsbruck
Our final day in the Innsbruck/Tyrol area was full of hiking and exploration. Aaron had mentioned a few months before our trip that he was interested in Alpine Sliders (I had never heard of them) but when we realized Imst had one we just HAD to go. Imst was about a 1.5 hour drive from […]
A Rainy Day In Tirol
Our plans for today were pretty much dictated by the weather. It is supposed to rain for the rest of the week, so we had to adjust our hiking/alpine plans we had made which meant we got to explore more of the Tyrolean countryside! Before I even woke up today, Aaron had an alternate plan. […]
