We had the most perfect travel day from Dallas to Montreal. We scheduled a car for a 7am pick-up and were at the airport and through security less than 45 minutes later! Definitely the easiest trip we’ve had so far with Quincy. Rather than being stuck in Terminal C, I leaned on my travel days from the past with my mom and sister and ventured to Terminal D for breakfast and coffee. We then met up with the rest of Aaron’s family and boarded our flight to Montreal.
Once in Montreal, customs was a breeze and I got to see Quincy operate as an independent traveler for the first time. In the past we have always shared a suitcase and Aaron and I carried the “stuff” to make it easier, but this time Quincy was on his own! Now that he is older, traveling just get’s easier from here.

We arrived by 5pm, had a few martinis and a quick dinner then off to bed. The next day, we ventured through downtown for our first full day. We walked over 8 miles together from downtown, to the harbor, to the hotel for a rest, and then back down to old town. We explored the Montreal Science Center, Le Grande Roue Montreal, and Old Town. Below are our photos from the day. It was so much fun traveling as a group. Everyone was enthusiastic and excited to be together!
