Passports in hand. Hotel, Vrbo, and car reserved. The Rogers are headed to Canada!
This will actually be Quincy’s second international trip, with the US Virgin Islands being his first. Though he was 4, he still holds lots of fond memories from that trip. Thinking back on that, I know a few USVI posts are needed because that trip was absolutely to die for. Regardless, Quincy is 6 now and the older they get, the easier it is to travel.
What are we up to? Fortunately we are blessed with a beautiful blended family that loves each other and are dedicated to family trips that make memories for a lifetime. This year, the Rogers, Compte, Hand families are all headed to Canada! Our main destination will be Mont Tremblant, with a few days in Montreal at the beginning.
I have to be honest, my days of backpacking are a bit forgotten. While I like to think I’m still a carry-on kinda girl (like I used to be), that is simply not the case anymore. As a Mom now, and a Type-A Mom at that, I have an obsession with being prepared so a full on checked bag it is. How many times have I packed and unpacked my bag? Twice. How many pounds did I reduce it by? Three. So there we are.
Either way, I am thrilled to add a stamp to my newly renewed passport and return to Canada, the more polite version of America on some (most) days. If you’d like to follow along, please subscribe and you’ll be getting random snippets from our family’s adventure for the next two weeks!

This photo is from our last international trip, obviously not Canada, but you get the point. We will have fun!
